Our Death Doula Certification Course is designed to equip you with the knowledge and skills necessary to become a compassionate and effective companion to the dying and their loved ones. In this 6 week program, you will gain a deep understanding of the dying process, learn practical care techniques, and explore the emotional and cultural aspects of end-of-life care. In this class we emphasize the importance of empathy, compassion, and respect throughout your work as a death doula. Required Books Book: Death Doula: Tools and Techniques for End of Life Support by Kelly Ruby Hanson Workbook: Living Fully and Dying Prepared by Francesca Lynn Amoldy FINAL: An intake with Ms Val. It needs to be complete with any tools you will use (meditations, singing bowls, music, etc.) The goal is to demonstrate that you have understood the concept of dying with dignity and living fully.
